About

Wuzhen is divided into four sections—East, South, West, and North—by a cross-shaped water system. The town has preserved the architectural style and layout of the water town from the Qing and Republic of China eras, earning it the reputation of "a land of rice and silk." Known for its enchanting water channels, ancient buildings, and rich folk culture, visitors can take rowboat tours, admire the beautiful night views of the West Garze, and enjoy traditional performances, all while experiencing the unique charm of a Jiangnan water town. For a full day of exploration, visit the East Garze in the morning, the West Garze in the afternoon, and enjoy the night view there in the evening.
