The Great Wall is an important military defense system from ancient China, with city walls as its main body and combined with many fortifications, watchtowers, and markers to form an integrated defense system. It is not just a wall, but a carrier of the Great Wall culture, playing a vital role in promoting China's excellent traditional culture. The Wall was built during the Western Zhou Dynasty. After the Qin Dynasty unified China, it connected the walls of various states. Major renovations were carried out during the Chenghua period of the Ming Dynasty. Today, the remaining ruins are spread across 15 provinces and municipalities, with a total length exceeding 21,000 li, and over 43,000 cultural relics are still preserved.
